Great place with incredibly friendly and helpful staff who go above and beyond. 🌟 Despite being in a very central location, the neighborhood is not the safest, so be cautious. whenever I visit, I enjoy my stay here.

The service was quick
The rooms were very badly insulated. Everything could be heard from the street. Very old furniture and desparatly needs redoing. The hotel is far too expensive for what you get. the location is poor. The neighbourhood not safe to walk in and very dirty. Wifi was not always working and very slow when it was. In all a terrible stay with very littel sleep.

The room I got was modern and tidy, plus it had a nice view. the best part was how convenient the location was - everything important was nearby. being just 2 km away from a cool cultural center designed by Libeskind was a bonus! 🌆

Kindness of the staff
No air conditioning; old fashioned style hotel; the hotel had a heavy, stale atmosphere, poorly ventilated room. The streets around the hotel were crowed with tramps.

It was very convenient to get to downtown by public transit. Also the laundry was around the corner. The reception staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was adequate.
The bathroom was a bit small. There are quite a few of homeless people around the area but they don't bother you if you ignore them.

The only thing positive to say about this inn is that the staff is nice and they were as accommodating as they could be.
Given that the location is in the worst part of San Francisco and the environs include some of the most scary citizens this side of skid row, it was incredible that my wife and I made it safely to the hotel each night. There were numerous occasions were we witnessed people speaking/screaming to themselves, drug deals, various arguments (some violent) and odd violations of your personal space. Not for the faint of heart. The inn itself needs a drastic update. For $300 a night, I expected a lot more.

I was given a well-kept and well-decorated room with a comfortable bed. the hotel is located very close to the Tenderloin and is easily accessible to Union Square and outlets.

The staff were extremely helpful and acted quickly to address any issues. Large rooms that are old but clean.
This is an older building that was recently renovated.

The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff genuinely friendly and helpful. The hotel appears to be being renovated and the room we stayed in was freshly painted and very clean.
The location and street noise! As there is no double glazing you can hear every noise so sleep is elusive. Also the location of the hotel is on the edge of the notorious 'tenderloin' area with a lot of homeless people sleeping on the streets. Tour buses recommend that tourists avoid the area at night. We made sure to use taxis to and from the hotel at night.
